I went to this link and i have analyzed
FX SHOT: DMP - Establishing shot. what this shot is it is at the start of a show where it shows the whole shot of the movie or documentary what this creates is an effect of the whole scene and it shows everything being enhanced.
FX SHOT- this is a shot that is used in the Sarah Jane adventures because what this does is that it creates effect and can endure the viewer and the viewer knows that it is a show where there are special scenes that shows different physique's in a show that is good for the viewers as its supernatural aliens and etc.
You have identified that FX shots are different to other shots here heritier but you have not quite got the definition correct. The purpose of FX shots is to show that it is a scene using a special effect. These would often be shot on bluescreen or in the studio to achieve this effect.
